About Alexander:

Alexander Holloway is the Head of Stage Combat and Special Effects at Pop-up Globe. When he’s not choreographing stage combat for the Pop-up Globe stage, Alex’s time is spent running the New Zealand Stage Combat School, a company he founded in 2016 to deliver top quality training to performers and stage combat enthusiasts alike. After completing his BA HONS at East 15 drama school, Alexander worked on the West End and in London as a professional fight director and/or fighter for many years.

Inspired by great films like The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Alexander moved to New Zealand to share his expertise in stage combat. Alexander now teaches at some of the best theatres and drama schools in New Zealand.
