Volunteer Ushers

Our Farewell Auckland season, “The Summer of Love” opens at The Anthony Harper Pop-up Globe theatre on December 7th, running throughout the summer to close on March 22nd after which the theatre will Pop-down.

Our volunteer ushers are the lifeblood of the theatre in season.  Without them, we couldn’t operate smoothly, and provide the best experience for our patrons.

You are the public face of Pop-up Globe, welcoming our guests as they arrive, and  providing a smooth journey from gate to seat, quickly providing solutions for anything that may arise along the way with confidence, escalating where necessary.

In the very unlikely event of an emergency, you are the first port of call for our guests, working with the theatre, front and back of house teams in assisting with evacuating the playhouse smoothly and safely.

A passion for what we do here is vital, and a desire to be an integral part of the team, in providing the world class entertainment and experience for our audience.

In return there are benefits, including, but not limited to an allocation of complementary groundling tickets and other ad-hoc recognition.*
